TASK MANAGEMENT

ClickUp tasks that
create themselves.

Audit assignments, onboarding checklists, and deadlines flow into ClickUp automatically from CRM triggers. WorkWez builds the layer that means your team executes tasks instead of typing them.

HOW WE USE IT

Tasks appear when the work exists

Task managers fail in agencies for one reason: someone has to remember to create the tasks. When a new audit is assigned or a client signs, the person doing the assigning is busy, so the checklist gets created late, partially, or differently every time.

In the systems WorkWez builds, ClickUp tasks are created by the event itself. A CRM stage change generates the full audit task with prospect details, deadline, and assignee. A closed deal generates the complete onboarding checklist in the right sequence.

Status flows back the other way too: when the auditor marks the task complete, the prospect automatically receives their audit with a booking link, and management is notified. ClickUp becomes part of the pipeline, not a parallel universe.

IN PRODUCTION

What we build with ClickUp

Audit assignment and tracking

One CRM status change creates the audit task, sets the deadline, assigns the auditor, and fires a 2-day reminder. Audits stop being late because nothing depends on memory.

Onboarding checklists

Every new client generates the identical onboarding task tree, in sequence, with owners and due dates. The 50th client onboards exactly like the 5th.

Completion-driven follow-ups

Task completions trigger the next step automatically (sending deliverables, notifying managers, updating the CRM), so finished work never sits waiting for a human to notice.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions about ClickUp,
answered straight.

Yes. The pattern (CRM events creating structured task trees, completions triggering follow-ups) works on any task platform with an API. ClickUp is what we run in production daily, so it's where our templates are deepest.

We usually restructure as part of the build: consistent spaces per client, standardized statuses, and templates for recurring work. Automation needs clean structure to run on, so the cleanup pays for itself immediately.

Three, in order: automatic audit/deliverable task creation from CRM triggers, standardized onboarding checklists, and deadline reminders that escalate. Those three eliminate most of the 'who was supposed to do this?' conversations.
